This line came to me along with a melody on my way home one day. I hadn't written a song for quite a while, and couldn't wait to get home and get out my guitar. "High On That Mountain" was completed shortly thereafter.
The thought came to mind that this song would be the title cut of a new CD. I thank the Lord for the gift of music and trust Him to use it as He deems best. The melody and poetry of it are the best way I know to express the praise and glory of His name.
"HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN" was released in November 2006 on Dove Star Records, The CD is an eclectic blend of Bluegrass/Country & Southern Gospel, with a trace of Celtic influence.
